‘Medea’ by Euripides

The Aischylos season 2024/2025 has come to a close with six wonderful performances. Jeroen Tessers, our director for the past year, chose the tragedy ‘Helen’ by Euripides. Helena was performed in February 2025 by students from schools in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

The new season

Preparations for 2025/2026 are in full swing. This year, Sjeng Verheijden will be our director and we are also happy to welcome two new participating schools: Sophianum Scholengroep from Gulpen and Stella Maris College from Meerssen.

We also partnered with Zuyd Translations Maastricht. Students from this academy provided the German and French translations of the script.
